lazuli
predominant mask fluent in losing tempers flares
embers my eyes suddenly wet the threats weren’t
blind mutual glares across shimmering distances
sometimes you couldn’t find yourself we met in
isolation i’ve yet to create boundaries or locate what
you found in me the luster of bright depths sundered

who am i devoid of body stripped
of mind causes and effects unseen
serpentine sea unmoving vying for
innocence’s relief
