Ethereal readers,
Summer is a time for relaxation, rejuvenation, and light. We think of the summer sun blazing in the sky, the hum of the world coming to life, clear blue skies and dirt roads that go to nowhere. It is a wonderful time, a wonderful feeling.
But do not forget the darkened storm clouds, the tap of rain against a window. Do not dismiss rich soil that feeds us, dirt spots on feet and forest greens. Do not recoil from the beauty that seeps out from darkness. Summer contains fullness, a dichotomy of nothing and everything.
We bring you this issue to remind you to listen to the rain on the windowsill, the fog in your side mirrors. Mother Nature speaks to us in many ways, and we call you to listen.
Forever yours,
Sydney Wagner, Co-Editor
